The Process
Traditionally, you hire a storyboard artist based on their drawing style. After you brief them, they spend a few days sketching up the frames, and once you’re happy, they finalize their illustrations over a few days, giving you the minimum of frames. Keep in mind, this is someone who has probably never been on a film set, and is defining the story not in a cinematic manner, but that of a storyboard artist.

At Mise, our artists uniquely use AI to create our storyboards. Using AI means rapid generation of imagery, creating multiple options for each frame, and we do this in a fraction of the time of a traditional storyboard artist.
Using this method, we can create any style you choose, or even develop a new style with you.
Our storyboards are created by filmmakers, not storyboard artists, so we know how to tell a story cinematically with blocking, lenses, and style. We tell stories like directors, and it shows in our work.
Traditionally, you give your storyboard frames to an editor/animator to compose, than they make it all move aroiund. Again, it’s unlikely they’ve ever shot or produced a final film, so you may not be in the best hands.
